Eric McKnight of Brownlow Road, Horwich, asks: Does anyone know the whereabouts of Frank (Francis) Joseph Garside (b. September 15, 1933).
Frank’s sister Sheila Showell (nee Croston) is a very good friend of mine who lives in Teneriffe and has done so for 25+ years.
She last saw her brother when he was about 21 years of age.
Their parents Alice and Harry Garside who lived in Grassmere Street, Halliwell, died fairly young and Sheila was adopted by relatives.
I have been helping her to find her brother for a number of years to no avail.
