dQUILTER - REVEREND THOMAS BRENDAN dThe Quilter family and Father Ged Murphy would like to thank FATHER BRENDAN'S relatives, the communities of Our Lady of Lourdes and dSt Gregory's, Farnworth, St Osmund's Breightmet, Our Lady and St John's Chorlton-cum-Hardy, members of the other parishes in which he worked, brother Priests and his many friends from both Britain and Ireland. dThe family and Father Ged were overwhelmed by the sympathy shown, testimonies of how FATHER BRENDAN changed people's lives for the better and the huge warmth of the funeral Masses. dThey would also like to thank his Sister-In-Law, without whom he would have died in 1991, the many Doctors and Medical Staff who have lovingly cared for him over the years, the Staff of Nazareth House, where his room could only adequately be described as palatial. Special thanks are due to John Howarth (Howarth's Funeral Service) who dbraved the storms of last week to escort him to Ireland and those who flew over, despite the cancellations and delays of flights. A DVD of the Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes, with a slide show of pictures from his life will be available shortly (cost to be determined), with proceeds paying for children with special needs and disabilities to go to Lourdes. Details available next week Wednesday 31st January on 01204 572380 dand by email olofl.stgreg@btinternet.com. He's still making the money! d
