OWEN Coyle will put his faith in young goalkeeper Adam Bogdan for Wanderers’ next three games.

Jussi Jaaskelainen will be suspended for Bolton’s trips to Arsenal and Aston Villa in the Premier League, and Burnley in the Carling Cup, following his red card in yesterday's 2-2 draw with Birmingham.

But Coyle won’t recall Ali Al-Habsi from Wigan – and instead looks set to continue with the inexperienced Bogdan between the posts.

The 22-year-old Hungarian only made his Wanderers debut in Tuesday night’s Carling Cup success against Southampton.

But he was thrown into action against the Blues after Jaaskelainen’s moment of madness saw him dismissed for slapping Roger Johnson in the stunning fightback at the Reebok.

It was assumed Coyle would immediately recall Al-Habsi, who is on a season-long loan at the DW Stadium and made his Wigan debut in their shock 1-0 win at Tottenham.

But the Bolton manager insists Bogdan is up to the task.

“Adam played at Southampton during the week and came on against Birmingham because I have tremendous belief in him,” he said.

“I’ve got absolutely no fears about Adam Bogdan going to play at the Emirates because we think he’s going to be a top-class goalkeeper.

“We do have that option [to bring Al-Habsi back] but we put Ali on loan because he needed to get Premier League experience.

“If we bring Ali back for three games then he’s back in the same position after that because Jussi is a top-class goalkeeper.

“I might change my mind but I’m not envisaging that [Al-Habsi coming back].”

Johan Elmander is unlikely to join up with the Sweden squad after picking up a slight injury against Birmingham.
