Tom Lancashire's first outing in the European Championships has been put back to Wednesday night.
A total of 28 entries for the 1500m meant there was no need for the heats to take place in Barcelona.
The 25-year-old Bolton Harrier from Bromley Cross had been scheduled to take part in the heats on Tuesday at 12.15pm.
But they were scrapped on Monday when it was decided the event could go ahead with just two semi-finals and a final.
The change makes no difference to the competition, with 14 competitors taking part in each semi-final, the first four finishers in each plus the four fastest losers overall going through to the final on Friday evening.
The semi-finals take place at 8.40pm on Wednesday night.
