SUE SHARP of 4 Chart House, Fleet Avenue, Marina, Hartlepool , TS24 0WB says: Dora Amy Dodd, is the widow of my great Uncle, Ernest Dodd (b 1920 Sheffield).
They had a son Robert Dodd.
Ernest was grandmother’s youngest sibling, he was a retired master plumber and died in the 1990s in Southport.
I believe Dora moved back to Bolton to live near her family.
I am trying to trace this lady to ask if she could share any stories with me about Ernest, George his father and siblings.
I could share stories with her.
I do not wish to distress or cause her concern, simply to share a little family history.
