FOREIGN Secretary David Miliband last night issued a rallying call to Labour supporters in Bolton.
On a visit to the Oxford Grove Sure Start Children’s Centre, where he addressed an audience of more than 40 members and supporters, Mr Miliband said the General Election would be fought by “word of mouth”.
He urged them all to write to floating voters they knew.
“This election will be won by word of mouth and I urge you to write a personal letter to someone they know who is a floating voter. People are fed up of sloganeering. They want the personal touch.”
