JENNY Wallwork begins her quest for glory at the European Badminton Championships this morning.
The doubles ace is facing a hectic six months on the court in the build up to the Commonwealth Games in India in October.
But first she turns her attentions to the Euro scene as the tournament gets underway at Manchester’s MEN Arena today.
The Bolton-born star and Nathan Robertson, the 2004 Olympic silver medallist, are third seeds and face Welsh pair Joe Morgan and Kerry Ann Sheppard in the first round.
Wallwork also be competing in the women’s doubles with Gabby White. They take on Ireland’s Emma Calow and Sinead Chambers tomorrow.
The 23-year-old, who now lives in Leeds, will be hoping for a good performance ahead of World Championships in Paris in August.
