THE number of people injured and killed on Bury's roads is the lowest for ten years.
Figures produced by the Bury Council's accident investigation team show that across the borough last year 949 people were injured in road accidents compared to 1,024 in 2004.
Four people died on the borough's roads as well last year six fewer than the previous year.
