IVAN Campo's latest setback has prompted Wanderers to redouble their efforts to reinforce their depleted squad before Tuesday night's transfer deadline.
Tal Ben Haim's centre-back partner in the Israeil national side, Happoel Tel Aviv's Shimon Gershon, has been tipped for a move to the Reebok but, asked if he expected any movement on the transfer front, Allardyce responded in the negative.
Khalilou Fadiga, who missed the Arsenal game with a knee injury, could be back in contention for Wednesday night's trip to Portsmouth, where Allardyce hopes his players can successfully turn their focus back on the Premiership.
"To knock out the current FA Cup holders, the team that has dominated the competition most over the last few years, was absolutely fantastic," the manager said.
"That's three we've won in the last four outings against them and, for a club like this to be matching the giants and consistently beating them is a record to be very proud of.
"But the lads behind the scenes had to start working to prepare the players for Portsmouth in the hope of keeping us going well in the Premiership."
