HOPEFULLY, Luton Town boss Mike Newell will continue his campaign against scum managers who take bungs.
Any manager who takes money for conducting transfer deals should be kicked out of the game.
Supporters' hard-earned cash funds football, while bung money just disappears out of the game for good.
Managers who accept them might as well just take the cash straight out of the supporters' pockets.
It is very easy for managers to be tempted to take a cut of a deal.
Agents need transfers to be done to earn money themselves, and they, or club chairman, might try to persuade managers to take a bung with words like business deal and consultancy fee.
The managers may think they are going to lose the player anyway so he might as well make a bit of money out of it.
But there are no excuses, and there is no justification for accepting cash for moving a player between clubs.
This must not be swept under the carpet.
