ANYTHING which makes hospital less frightening for children is a positive move, and a pioneering scheme run by the Royal Bolton Hospital is particularly laudable.
The Well Teddy project is aimed at children aged four to seven and involves staff from the children's wards visiting schools to show pupils how injections, operations and other medical procedures are carried out.
Breeding confidence in this way is the right medicine for youngsters who may need treatment at any time.
