POLICE were forced to close roads following a multiple car pile-up in Leigh.
Two men, one aged 26, and a second in his 50s, were taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital with minor injuries.
The other two people were uninjured.
The accident, involving four cars, happened at 5.55pm on Tuesday and roads were closed around Atherleigh Way for several hours while police recovered the vehicles.
Atherleigh Way was closed from St Helens Road to Twist Lane.
