A POLICEWOMAN from Bolton, who was convicted of driving while twice the legal alcohol limit, is still waiting to hear the outcome of an internal investigation.
Paula Grindrod, aged 42, of Bradshaw Meadows, Bradshaw, pleaded guilty to drink driving in December and was fined £400 by magistrates in Tameside.
The officer was also banned from driving for 20 months.
She was suspended while an internal misconduct assessment was carried out by GMP.
Grindrod was arrested after colleagues noticed she was under the influence of alcohol when she turned up at a Manchester police station.
