A COUPLE accused of falsely claiming their car had been stolen in a robbery may face jail.
Christopher Wilson and Suzanne Wilson both pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to attempting to pervert the course of justice by making a false robbery claim on April 9 last year.
Christopher Wilson, aged 26, also admitted attempting to obtain an insurance pay-out by deception. He and his 23-year-old wife, both of Leigh Road, Hindley, were remanded on bail for sentencing on February 27.
Judge Graham Platts ordered reports before he passes sentence, but warned that the couple could go to prison.
