PHOENIX Nights star Justin Moorhouse is to bring his stand-up comedy show to Bolton's Octagon Theatre.
Tickets go on sale for his July 8, show - part of the Difficult Second Tour - at the theatre this Friday, and demand is expected to be high.
Widely recognised as tiger-striped Young Kenny in Channel 4s Phoenix Nights and Max & Paddy, Key 103 DJ Justin has come a long way since winning the City Life Comedian of the Year Award in 2000, firmly establishing himself as one of the most sought-after comedy acts on the circuit.
He has also been creating quite a stir on the airwaves - his weekday afternoon show on Manchester's Key 103 has earned him nominations for DJ of the Year and Presenter of the Year.
Now, with a "new house, new car and new baby to pay for" he is leaving the comfort of the studio behind to indulge in his first love - live stand-up.
Justin says: "I'm looking forward to coming to Bolton and especially the Octagon Theatre - it'll be nice to be in Bolton and not have a tiger face on. Bolton and Phoenix Nights have been very important to my career so far, so it'll be a pleasure to nip up the A666."
Tickets are £12 on 01204 520661 or at www.octagon bolton.co.uk
