A MAN exposed himself on a nightclub dance floor and threatened a group of women with violence after they turned down his advances, a court heard.
Sarfaz Ahmed, aged 25, of Campbell Street, Farnworth, was told he could be placed on the Sex Offenders Register after he pleaded guilty on Tuesday to indecent exposure and a Public Order Offence.
Bolton Magistrates' Court heard how Ahmed had approached three young women on the dancefloor at the RAC nightclub in Market Street, Farnworth, on January 28 last year.
He behaved in an abusive and threatening manner when they turned down his advances.
He dropped his trousers, made a lewd suggestion and spat in one woman's face before being restrained by a bouncer.
The court heard he also struck the club's manageress in the chest, knocking her over.
Geoff Southcote-Want, prosecuting, said other members of Ahmed's party became involved, leading to "running battles" outside the club.
The Court heard how Ahmed had not drunk or socialised since the incident and was full of regret for his behaviour.
He had recently married and the court was told he believed his life would be ruined if he was placed on the Sex Offenders Register.
The case was adjourned until February 28 for reports and Ahmed was granted unconditional bail.
