ROYAL Bolton Hospital bosses last month missed the national target for treating people in accident and emergency within four hours.
The average for December showed that 97.3 per cent of people visiting casualty at the hospital were treated within four hours when the Government target is 98 per cent.
Despite missing the targets, Bolton is one of just four trusts across Greater Manchester to achieve an average of 98 per cent in the last quarter of last year.
