A HUGE mobile cinema will roll into Bolton's Victoria Square in February as part of a North-west tour.
The Kino Cinemobile weighs 42 tons, is 55ft long and 21ft high and has never been seen in Britain before.
The travelling movie house will show a range of films on its full size screen to audiences of 100.
The Kino Cinemobile Tour is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kinofilm, Manchester's international short film and video festival, which runs from February 24 to March 5.
Kinofilm festival director John Wojowski said: "The 10th birthday of Kinofilm is going to be a really special event with some fantastic films and world premieres lined up.
"The Cinemobile, which is launching the Festival on February 10, is an articulated lorry that turns into a fully-equipped cinema.
"It's not only the first time the Cinemobile has been seen in the UK. It's also the first time a touring cinema has taken a film festival on tour in Britain.
"It gives us a wonderful opportunity to take film to the heart of the community."
The Cinemobile will be in Bolton on February 25 and 26 and all the showings are free.
