SAM Allardyce vowed to go all out for success in all three remaining competitions.

The Wanderers boss, who admits he would give up everything to win the FA Cup this season, has set his players' sights on treble glory.

Allardyce stayed behind when his team left for Wednesday's Premiership clash at Portsmouth, hoping to add at least one more high class addition to his squad before the transfer window closes at midnight on Tuesday night.

He added one player to his ranks on Monday, when he signed 24-year-old midfielder, Oscar Perez, from the Spanish third division side, Cordoba, until the end of the season. But he does not see the Spaniard having an impact at first team level, where the need is greatest.

He maintains that injuries and the absence of his African Nations Cup players makes it imperative that new blood is recruited to help with the workload between now and the end of the season.

But he stresses that, no matter how short-handed he may be, he will not ask his players to ease up in one competition in order to increase their chances of winning another.

"We will not sacrifice any of the competitions," said Allardyce, whose team has a chance of finishing in the fourth Champions League place in the Premiership, have a home tie against West Ham in the fifth round of the FA Cup and have reached the last 32 of the UEFA Cup.

"I would not ask the players to do that because doing well as we have in all competitions has given us a lot of confidence.

"Even if we keep everyone fit, it is still a mammoth task. But I can't ask the players to sacrifice any one of the competitions. It might cost us but I say to the players that we can go for all three competitions this season.

"We might slip, but we have gone to January without slipping up so far. Our position in the Premeirship is very strong. The problem is the game-load.

"There's a possibility that we might have to play four games in a week at some stage, if we continue in the UEFA and FA Cups.

Allardyce said: "We have signed Oscar to strengthen the numbers in the crucial midfield area.

"He has played most of his career in the lower leagues in Spain and will mainly get his chance in the reserves and potentially in the first team later this season."
