NIGEL Martyn believes Wigan will be facing a completely different Everton side from the one they shocked by winning at Goodison Park back in September.
The veteran stopper feels times have changed for the Toffees since their shock 1-0 defeat, which came at a time when the Latics were still an unknown quantity in the Premiership.
"The confidence is there for us now, we are on a run of seven unbeaten games," said Martyn.
"There's no doubt we are much better than the last time we played them."
"What we have done now is produce a seven-match unbeaten sequence after a pretty dreadful run. That's all down to confidence, it builds as things start to go well and you see your play improve."
Everton will have Tim Cahill back from suspension and Alan Stubbs available after being cup-tied.
Boss David Moyes will make a late decision on James Beattie, who suffered a calf injury which kept him out of the cup draw against Chelsea, while James McFadden is a doubt with a broken nose.
