A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has admitted a series of sex attacks on four primary school girls in Salford.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to four counts of raping the children, all aged between seven and 10 years old.
The offences were committed after they played on swings in Mandley Park.
The boy spoke only to enter his pleas during the 30-minute hearing at Manchester Crown Court.
A further four sex charges were denied and ordered to lie on file. Prosecutor Maurice Greene said the boy admitted none of his victims had encouraged him before the attacks.
The rapes took place in a secluded area of the park between 5pm and 6.40pm last July 10, close to Leicester Road in Salford.
The boy was arrested during the night.
Judge James Hammond adjourned the case to allow psychiatric reports to be prepared.
The boy was remanded in custody to reappear at Crown Court for sentence on March 24.
