UK companies have unprecedented opportunities to tap into Saudi Arabia's oil wealth, according to a Government minister.
Trade and Investment Minister Ian Pearson addressed government and businesses leaders about the expanding Saudi economy at Manchester Town Hall. He said: "The Saudi Arabian economy is the largest in the Arab world and is currently experiencing an unprecedented economic boom. Projects worth more than $623 billion have been identified within the Kingdom over the next 15 years. There are excellent opportunities for UK companies in non-oil sectors including education, health and power supply."
