I AM writing to support the 'Back the Baby Unit' at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Our second daughter Julie gave birth to our grandson Michael at this hospital 22 years ago. I was there for the birth and all went well.
The staff at that time were very efficient, and gave our daughter and Michael, who had ''clicky hips' the care they needed. That was 22 years ago (no trouble with the hips now).
Michael lives in Keighley, Yorkshire, and is married, and my daughter now lives in Bodmin, Cornwall, and has two other children now in their teens.
Here's hoping this letter will give support to this very special hospital for all the special services it gives, even after all these years.
