A WOMAN pleaded guilty to assaulting her partner when she appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Margaret Reynolds, aged 37, of Dijon Street, Deane, was given a six month conditional discharge for common assault.
The court heard that she had been out drinking all day on January 6, and when she returned home at around 10.30pm, a minor argument broke out between herself and her partner, William Batty.
Reynolds slapped him across the face and knocked his glasses, causing a small cut on his nose.
Reynolds was also ordered to pay £50 costs.
