RESIDENTS should find it easier to contact their local councillor thanks to the town halls website.
Each elected member will now have their individual web page, with biographical details, portfolio coverage and contact details. The public can also ask a councillor a question via this medium.
Councillor Mike Connolly, deputy leader of the council, said: "The community will be able to engage with their councillor on issues that concern them."
To view the web pages, log onto www.bury.gov.uk. Click on 'Your Council' and then go to 'councillors' under the 'whos who in the council'
