TWO Bolton men have been released on police bail after they were arrested in connection with a hit and run accident which left a 19-year-old woman in a critical condition.
The student was crossing Princess Street at its junction with Graby Row in Manchester in the early hours of Saturday when she was hit a Peugeot 206.
It failed to stop and two doormen from 5th Avenue chased after it, forcing the car to a halt at the sliproad to the Mancunian Way.
The men from Bolton, both aged 21 have been released pending further police inquiries.
The pedestrian is still in a critical condition in Hope Hospital in Salford.
