SPEEDING motorists will be targeted as a result of concerns from members of the public.
Officers will be carrying out roadside checks in Tonge Moor Road, Bolton, from Monday.
The area has been identified by residents who are concerned about the number of drivers who are exceeding the speed limit. The speed enforcement campaign is being carried out across Greater Manchester
Under the Department for Transport guidelines, speed enforcement is allowed at so called community concern sites. This is where a location does not meet the Government's criteria for a speed camera.
