A 36-year-old man was battered by a thug who jumped out of a car.
The victim was walking along Walmersley Road, Bury, with a friend when a car slowed down and the passenger got out.
The offender shouted: 'You spat at our car,' then launched into a vicious attack. The victim was left with a broken nose, broken hand and two black eyes.
The attack happened at around 8pm on January 11. The man had a distinctive black striped tattoo on his arm. He was white, in his mid 20s, 6ft 4ins, of heavy build, with short brown hair.
