RADCLIFFE Cricket Club is looking forward to the season on the field after ironing out internal differences off it at an extraordinary general meeting.
The "back to business" message came from club committee members after Monday's night's showdown at the Homer Street ground.
The meeting had been convened after a 17-name petition, signed by many first team players, was handed to the committee to say they would not play under the current management structure.
This followed the installation of Mr Chris Franklin as chairman at the last annual meeting, who was voted in to replace Mr David Halliwell. The row involved differences over the way the youth set-up at the club would be managed.
At the meeting, the club's future was discussed, and the petition defeated, with the club now advertising for new players.
Mr Franklin told the Radcliffe Times: "There was a healthy debate at the meeting on Monday, and now everything will be carrying on as normal."
The club last week also announced Stephen Holt as captain and Pasan Wanansinghe as the new professional.
Some members who opposed the management structure were approached by the Radcliffe Times this week, but did not wish to comment. It is not clear how many players will carry out their initial threat to leave the club.
