RADCLIFFE Boro announced on Thursday that young striker Adam Carden has left the club.
The 20-year-old former Southport youngster took the decision to leave after speaking with the manager.
Manager Kevin Glendon told Boro's website: "After speaking to Adam and explaining I could not offer him a regular place in the team he decided to try his luck elsewhere.
"I was quite willing to let Adam stay at the club and be included in the squad, but he wanted to play on a regular basis and I could understand that.
"He has a good touch and ability on the ball and has a clever brain, but fitting him in our team and system on a regular basis was difficult and I explained that to him.
"He is another player who was excellent to deal with and deserves an opportunity at a club to be a regular."
