A COMPLETE overhaul of the council's housing allocations policy will be discussed by Bury Housing Forum next Thursday.
Residents are invited to attend the half-day seminar on January 26 which will propose major changes and aim to improve matters for the 3,000 people on the waiting list and those applying for council housing in the future.
Councillor Wayne Campbell, council leader, said: "We are keen to have a clear and transparent allocations policy, and welcome interested parties to have their say on the proposed changes."
The event runs from 9.30am to 1pm at the Seedfield Centre in Parkinson Street, Bury.
