INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into a £35,000 robbery at a Bury store.
A security guard was filling the ATM machine inside the Co-op Late Shop in Ainsworth Road at 8.30am last Friday when he was confronted by a lone offender who threatened him before fleeing with the cash.
The man made off in a silver Honda Accord which was waiting outside the shop. It was driven off along Ainsworth Road towards Radcliffe.
It is believed there were two other men in the car. None of the raiders was armed and the 29-year-old security guard was not injured.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery is asked to contact Whitefield CID on (0161) 856 8248.
