PEOPLE are being encouraged to become birdwatchers for an hour to help the RSPB.
On January 28 and 29, the annual Big Garden Birdwatch is being held and people are being asked to spend an hour in their gardens on one of the days noting down the birds they see.
Last year, nearly 400,000 people took part, recording more than six million birds in their gardens.
