BURY businesses will get the chance to quiz the Economic Secretary to the Treasury at an event this month.
Ivan Lewis, Bury South MP, is holding a lunch meeting with members of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. He is keen to meet local businesses to discuss his new ministerial responsibilities for financial products, pensions and relationships with the banking industry.
Mr Lewis has been a Member of Parliament since 1997 and later became Skills Minister. He was made Economic Secretary to the Treasury in a Cabinet reshuffle last year.
The free event will take place between noon and 2pm on Friday, January 27 at the Fusiliers Museum, Wellington Barracks, Bury. For more information, contact Paul Foster on 01204 336093 or email paul.foster@gmchamber.co.uk
