PLANS have been submitted to build four apartments and six houses in Horwich.
The application to build the homes on land off Gorton Fold and Church Street will be scrutinised by town planners on Thursday.
The plans, which have been submitted by the Horwich funeral director L Livesey and Sons, are considered to conform with council policy.
Planning officers at Bolton Council have reported that the design of the houses is 'sympathetic' with the surrounding neighbourhood.
Eight new car parking spaces and two new garages would be constructed as part of the plans.
Gorton Fold and Church Street are both in the Horwich Town Centre Conservation Area.
Horwich Town Councils Planning Committee meet at 7.30pm on Thursday in the public hall in Lee Lane.
