A PETITION has been launched amid fears that new offices in Turton Road, Bromley Cross, will make traffic problems worse.
More than 62 householders in Turton Road and Dene Bank have signed the petition.
The offices, at 132 Turton Road, will be the home for Newave Heating Ltd, a plumbing and heating company.
Mr John Wood, a resident in Dene Bank said: "We already have a huge traffic problem with people parking on the grass verges at the side of the road and residents cannot even get to their own homes. The addition of another business which has four vehicles will just add to an already busy area and neighbouring streets will suffer."
The firm's owner, Mr Mark Owen denied that the development would make road problems worse.
Mr Owen said: "The office is only to be used as an office, not a shop or plumbing merchants so there will be no customers visiting the building."
