THE successful transformation of Bury Law Centre, which saw it turn around its financial fortunes, has been rewarded.
For the Bank Street centre has won a Guardian Public Services Award for innovation and progress in the finance category. The centre was facing closure in 2004 but new management came to the rescue and it was relocated while securing vital funding and new employees.
