THE Bury company spearheading a multi-million pound development to create Britain's most technologically-advanced offices is well and truly in the driver's seat.
Global Telecoms and Technology Ltd has taken delivery of a new fleet of 47 Renault vehicles.
The business, launched by Mr Mark Bedward, is based at Europa House in Barcroft Street, Bury. The vehices have been supplied under a leasing arrangement involving Holcrofts, of Hanley.
Last year Global announced they were investing £8 million in the former StormSeal building in Peel Way, Bury, to create a 'hi-tech heaven' embracing the latest computer and telecommunications facilities. The Point Blue building had earlier been bought by the company.
Point Blue Investments and Point Blue Developments are the firms behind the refurbishment and the marketing of the building.
Global Telecoms and Technology currently employs 120 staff, the majority of whom are based in Bury. The company plans to create 40 further jobs by expanding its sales, engineering and office-based personnel. Another Point Blue acquisition and development, (Sector 2) Global HQ, is soon to be announced.
