I'VE not binned a mailed chain letter for yonks, and I was surprised to find one of the annoying things circulating by e-mail.
I opened up an Irish friendship communique which advised I should pass it on within an hour of opening it - after making a wish.
If it was sent to one person the lottery dream (in most cases I am sure), would come true within a year but, sent to increasing numbers of people it would happen sooner - and within three hours if it went out to 20 others.
More alarmingly it threatens a year of bad luck if it is deleted after being read. What a load of old tosh.
I can cope with that, I'm used to nothing else. It's gone in the hi-tech bin.
