A MOSLEY Common pensioner has accused police in the area of having no intention of catching the area's yobbos.
He claims they head for the scenes of complaints with sirens blaring, as a result scattering the nuisance gangs before they arrive at the scene.
He tells me neighbours had reason to call 999 when a mixed bunch of drunken teenagers were making their lives unbearable, kicking fences, shouting and swearing.
He says he could hear the sirens on the three patrol cars being sent to the scene blaring away - and if he could so could the offenders, who melted away before they arrived. He claims the officers didn't even get out of their cars, they just looked about and drove off.
Gossip in the area tells me police were called because of fears that the gang's activities was putting lives at risk in the road - but other opinion says they were doing no harm.
Each to their own, but you'd think the police could turn up without announcing they're on their way.
