LEIGH RMI 1 LANCASTER CITY 2: RMI's hopes of a fourth win in five games were dashed when they failed to continue their recent improved form.
They found themselves a goal behind after just two minutes when Tom Pope, on loan from Crewe, drilled home a shot.
RMI levelled in the 16th minute, when Steve Settle's cross was met by Chris Simm, but Andrew Bond, also on loan from Crewe, scored the decisive goal in the 35th minute when he cut inside and shot under ther keeper.
Earlier, his free-kick from 25 yards had hit the crossbar.
Leigh, who had lost on-loan winger Chris Williams before the game after he was surprisingly pulled out by Stockport through injury, suffered another setback in the 78th minute when big centre half, Liam Coyne, was stretchered off with a suspected dislocated hip.
