FORMER athletics star Sebastian Coe will visit Bolton later this month to meet business leaders.
Lord Coe is regarded as one of the UK's greatest athletes and was in charge of the successful bid to bring the 2012 Olympic Games to London.
After retiring from athletics in 1990, he entered politics and now sits in the House of Lords. He was recently awarded a knighthood in the New Year's Honours List for his work on Britain's Olympic bid.
He is coming to Bolton to talk to businesses about his sporting career and how the Olympic Games could benefit Greater Manchester's economy.
The business breakfast with Lord Coe, which is being hosted by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, will take place at the Ramada Hotel, Blackrod from 8am to 10am on January 27. Tickets cost £17.50 plus VAT. Call Marilyn Nicholson on 0161 237 4109 to book a place.
