CHRIS Williams plays his last game for resurgent Leigh RMI on Tuesday night as they try to notch their fourth win in five games at home to Lancaster City (7.45pm).
The tricky winger's loan spell is up and Stockport's caretaker boss Jim Gannon has recalled the youngster, who will be sorely missed after a string of impressive displays on the left flank.
The loss of Williams has been slightly tempered for manager Andy Nelson by striker Chris Patterson's loan spell from Blackpool being extended to the end of the season and the signing of former Rochdale Reserves skipper Kevin Gibbins, a 24-year-old centre-half released from Spotland.
Nelson said: "I have been extremely thankful that our form has improved and that we have managed to lift ourselves out of the relegation zone. Previously we had not had the rub of the green and it was nice it has come our way of late.
"The new faces have made a difference and their inclusion has benefited the existing players and we now have a better blend."
