THE Chairman for Bolton Vision would say that his company's rebranding of Bolton is great for the people of Bolton. If any investment is to be made it should be into the hospital and the NHS.
But I do believe that another crisis of cash funding is nigh... being the £64 million project on Super health centres which I think will end up costing far more.
Mr Hurst, if you have canvassed people's opinions in Bolton, you would have found many them of state that the council does not listen to the people of Bolton.
Here is a short list of such.
1. The Market Hall
2. The over expensive half job, called the gateway to Bolton (the bridge)
3. Bi-weekly refuse collections
4. Bolton town centre playing second fiddle to Middlebrook (the new town centre?)
5. Dangerous roads and footpaths
6. Public transport issues - from no services to where did all the new buses go?
We are not a colour barcode, but individuals with the need of a council that listens, and that is where the rebranding should lie - in the council and not at the public's expense.
