JARED Borgetti is seeking talks with Sam Allardyce over his Reebok future.
The Mexican striker scored his fifth goal of the season in Saturday's 3-0 FA Cup win at Watford, but he has yet to start a Premiership game since joining Wanderers in a £1 million transfer from Pachuca in August and is worried that his lack of regular action is damaging his World Cup prospects.
He does not want to leave Bolton, but admits he is getting increasingly frustrated.
"I'm just waiting for Sam Allardyce to give me a chance to start games in the Premiership," he said.
"I want to stay in Bolton but this year is the World Cup and I need to be playing.
"Not playing is not good for me. Ten games is nothing, it's not good for me, it's not good for the national team and it's not good for the people of Mexico.
"It would be better if I could stay in Bolton and play, but that might have to change, if the gaffer says I won't be playing in the Premiership.
"I need to speak to him and ask him why I don't. No big deal, I just need to know."
Top Mexican club, Guadalajara Chivas, are reportedly interested in the 32-year-old Borgetti, who is his nation's all-time leading goalscorer and was the leading goalscorer in all the World Cup qualifying groups.
Allardyce, who understands Borgetti's frustrations, says Wanderers have received no offers for the veteran hit man and he refuses to consider loaning him out.
"He won't be loaned to anybody at all," the manager said. "If somebody makes an offer we consider might be correct, from our point of view, and the player is interested, we may consider it.
"Other than that, there is no way Jared is moving from this football club."
Borgetti, who wanted European experience to gear up for the World Cup, in which Mexico will be one of the eight seeded nations, says his fans in his homeland are getting anxious.
"The people there are saying 'Come back to Mexico'," he said. "But I'm here and I'm just trying to take advantage of the opportunities."
