Wanderers have a mouth-watering home draw against holders Arsenal in the fourth round of the FA Cup after the draw on Monday lunchtime.
Arsenal triumphed in a quarter-final clash at the Reebok last year but will not relish a return trip Up North where they have often been found wanting in Premiership clashes.
The tie is the pick of the round and certain to be a live TV selection.
The full draw is:
Stoke or Tamworth v Barnsley or Walsall
Cheltenham or Chester v Newcastle
Coventry v Nuneaton or Middlesbrough
West Brom or Reading v Torquay or Birmingham
Portsmouth v Liverpool
Leicester v Southampton
Wanderers v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Port Vale
Brentford v Sunderland
Man City v Wigan or Leeds
Millwall or Everton v Chelsea
Preston v Crystal Palace
West Ham v Blackburn
Colchester v Derby
Charlton v Leyton Orient
Wolves v Burton or Man Utd
Ties to be played weekend of January 28/29 January
Wanderers safely negotiated a potential banana skin at Watford with an emphatic 3-0 FA Cup victory to go into the draw.
Wanderers brushed away the challenge of Championship side Watford despite the absence of several key players.
Jared Borgetti opened the scoring after 11 minutes from 12 yards after Malky Mackay failed to clear Ricardo Gardner's cross, Stelios added a second on 34 after a cutback from Ricardo Vaz Te and Vaz Te completed the scoring with a 25 yarder in the 73rd minute.
Hidetoshi Nakata and Giannakopoulos threatened for Bolton from the very start, forcing Gavin Mahon into a frantic clearance, before Borgetti opened the scoring.
Ben Foster then saved from Borgetti after the Mexico international made poor contact with Burton O'Brien's cross from the right.
