POSTERS have been distributed in pubs and clubs to highlight the problem of ambulance staff being physically or verbally attacked while attending emergency calls.
Greater Manchester Ambulance Service (GMAS) has revealed that from April 2004 to March 2005, staff reported 341 incidents of verbal or physical aggression, an average of nearly one per day.
