A PENSIONER missing from his home in Cumbria, could be in the Leigh or Wigan area, police believe.
Detectives are concerned for the welfare of Alan Atherton, aged 67, who disappeared on December 23 from Cark, near Grange in Cumbria.
He is white, 5ft 6in tall, of average build, with short, grey receding hair. He usually wears a suit, shirt and tie.
A Cumbria police spokesman said: "We have some information that may put him in the Wigan and Leigh area at the moment."
Anyone with any information about Mr Atherton's whereabouts should contact Cumbria Police on 0845 3300247.
