JARED Borgetti and Ivan Campo are going nowhere, unless the price is right.
Sam Allardyce has told his two wantaway players that it will take substantial cash offers to persuade him to let them go during this month's transfer window.
Borgetti, the Mexican striker signed for £1 million in August, has been the subject of increasing transfer speculation after failing to establish himself at Premiership level. Guadalajara Chivas, say they are keen to take him back to Mexico.
But Allardyce, who has had his squad decimated by African Nations Cup calls, suspensions and injuries, says the 32-year-old can still make a name for himself at the Reebok, starting in Saturday's FA Cup third round tie at Watford.
"Like everybody else in the squad, he has a chance now to play, score goals, win football matches for us and make it difficult for those who are away to get back in the side when they return."
Campo, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is wanted by his former club, Real Mallorca. But the La Liga strugglers are only interested in taking him on a free transfer - and that, Allardyce insists, rules out any chance of a move this month.
"Ivan Campo can't leave now," the Wanderers boss said. "Where could I find another player as talented as him for the money we pay him, unless somebody paid us £1 million?"
Campo is one of three players suspended for the Watford tie but should be in the frame for the next Premiership game at Blackburn on Saturday teatime (Jan 14).
