A MEMORIAL 5K race in Radcliffe helped to raise £500 for North Manchester General Hospital.
Terry Nortley, a Great Britain senior athletics coach, presented the cheque on behalf of Lancashire darts chairman Jim Rhodes, to sister Theresa Dent, of Ward F4.
The money was raised in memory of Jim's wife Joan, who died of cancer on the ward, through two memorial 5K races from the Masons Arms, Radcliffe, and the Falcon Inn, Littleborough.
A charity darts match was also organised to raise cash.
